34 new Enterprise chamber business members

The Enterprise Chamber of Commerce is a community partnership founded in 1941 that continues to grow. In 2024, 34 new business members were added to the organization that is more than 600 members strong,

“To be an advocate for our members by promoting the growth of business, industry, and community,” is the mission of the Enterprise Chamber of Commerce, said Chamber Executive Director Erin Grantham.

Enterprise recognizes 'Small Business Saturday'

Local business owners and Enterprise Chamber of Commerce members joined Mayor William E. Cooper for a proclamation signing recognizing Nov. 30 last year as Small Business Saturday in the City of Progress.

“Who you know does make a difference,” said Grantham, outlining the benefits of chamber of commerce membership. “Networking opportunities allow you to get connected with local area professionals. The Chamber hosts multiple events and programs throughout the year such as business after hours, Leadership Coffee County, action teams, luncheons, educational workshops, socials, and signature events to help your business grow.

“The Chamber receives several calls and emails each week from visitors, locals, and businesses looking for services, and our Chamber members are always our first referrals when directing inquiring minds,” said Grantham. “Business After Hours is a great opportunity to network with local area professionals, introduce yourself and your business, enjoy food and drinks, win prizes, learn about the hosting business and more, all in a casual laid-back atmosphere. These events are usually held on the third Thursday of every month at a different host location, from 5:30 until 7:00 p.m.”

The chamber website hosts a Community Calendar. “Whether you’re looking for a family-friendly event to enjoy or when the next city council meeting might be, our Chamber calendar combines all the fun and necessary information on local events into a singular, convenient place,” said Grantham. “Exclusive to our members, your events can be added at no additional cost to you.”

Chamber membership also provides small business owners and aspiring entrepreneurs with educational and training opportunities with valuable information to support business growth by connecting with local business development resources and strategic community partners.

Also offered to members are exclusive advertising opportunities or discounted fees at Chamber sponsored exhibit events. Members can feature their business, organization or project at the Chamber office with brochures, rack cards, postcards, pictures and more. Items are handed out monthly to newly in-processed soldiers and families at Fort Novosel, new resident welcome bags, and relocation requests.

Actively engaged in grand openings, groundbreakings, ribbon cuttings, and member milestones, the chamber stands ready to assist. “Whether you need help coordinating your grand opening celebration or just need to borrow the big scissors let us help make your day one to remember,” Grantham said.
