Linda Stoner, a resident of Saranac Lake, passed away on Dec. 26, 2022 after a brief illness. Linda was born in Hudson, New York on Nov. 7, 1949 to Ann and Alger Stoner.
Linda loved the outdoors, camping reading and her pet cat Utt-Ohh.
She was a nurse’s aid in her early years working in a nursing home in Livingston, New York and before retiring, she helped manage the Rusty Nail.
Linda was predeceased by her parents and only son, Gregory.
Linda is survived by her sister Janice Stine and her husband Jeff; her niece Debbie Buffa and companion Brian Wilford; nephews Kenny Johnson, Shane Johnson and Kathy Shae, Fay Johnson and wife Jamie, along with many great nieces, nephews and her Rusty Nail family. There will be no calling hours.
A celebration of Linda’s life will be held on Jan. 28 at 2 p.m. at the Rusty Nail in Saranac Lake.
