Virginia Tech Procurement will be hosting two information sessions to update employees on recently announced changes to the IT Procurement operating model.
Information sessions will be offered virtually on the following dates:
Information sessions will cover a range of topics, including a review of the operational changes, FERPA considerations, information security implications and a demonstration of the new purchasing process. Speakers will include:
- Mary Helmick, assistant vice president for finance and director of procurement
- Rick Sparks, associate vice provost and university registrar
- Ryan Orren, senior information technology compliance manager
- Reed Nagel, associate director of procurement
Following the presentation, there will be time for Q&A. Participants are encouraged to submit questions in advance.
Sessions will be recorded and made available for those unable to attend.
