From Nvidia and VMware to Dropbox and Databricks, here are the top 10 tech companies in 2023 ranked by employees around culture and values.

Every year Glassdoor releases its list of the best companies to work for in the U.S. This week, the workplace review website released a list of the 10 highest-rated tech companies to work for in 2023 based on culture and values. The ranking includes IT giants like Nvidia and VMware and rising stars such as Databricks and Samsara.

“Glassdoor research found that the culture and values of an organization are the most important drivers of employees satisfaction,” said Daniel Zhao, lead economist and senior manager at Glassdoor’s economic research team, in a statement. “And that has not been changed by the pandemic, despite the continued evolution of work.”

Glassdoor received thousands of responses from IT professionals who ranked their employer’s culture and values. Current full-time employees were asked to rate their U.S.-based company on a 1 to 5 scoring system based around culture and values.

Glassdoor Ranking Methodology

Glassdoor’s 2023 new 10 highest-rated tech companies for culture and values list was compiled via ratings on the company’s website from full-time employees between Jan. 1, 2023 to Aug. 30, 2023. The ranking includes U.S.-based tech companies with more than 1,000 employees and with a minimum of 50 Culture and Values ratings. A Glassdoor poll was conducted in late August which received over 5,000 responses from U.S. professionals on the platform.

A healthy culture and a strong set of values can have a positive impact on the employee experience, not to mention, can help with retention, productivity, reputation, and more,” said Glassdoor’s Zhao.

From Dropbox to Adobe, CRN breaks down the 10 highest-rated IT companies based in the U.S. that made Glassdoor’s report, which includes CEO approval ratings, annual revenue and culture and values rating.
