iQOO 12 launch date in India: iQOO is all set to launch its other flagship smartphone – iQOO 12. While there’s already a lot of excitement among iQOO fans regarding this smartphone, there’s some announcement that has taken it to a new level. According to Nipun Marya, CEO, of iQOO India, the smartphone will be powered by Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.

If reports are to be believed, the smartphone is expected to be launched in India and globally by the end of November or in the first half of December. This will make iQOO 12 the first smartphone in India to come with Snapdragon 8 Gen 3.
Reports also suggest that the smartphone will be available in two variants – iQOO 12 and iQOO 12 Pro. However, there are chances that only the vanilla variant of the smartphone will be made available in India.

The smartphone manufacturer is expected to stick to the tradition of its collaboration with BMW M Motorsport for the launch of the smartphone. Just like in iQOO 11, its successor is expected to have a special “Legend Edition Inspired by BMW M Motorsport”. The smartphone will not just feature customised themes but also BMW M stripes across the rear.
Meanwhile, the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset – which was announced at the Snapdragon Tech Summit 2023 – offers 30 per cent performance improvements when compared to Gen 2 processor.
Also, smartphone manufacturers like OnePlus and Oppo will also launch devices powered by the latest flagship Snapdragon chip. There are reports that the Oppo Find X7 Pro is expected to be the first smartphone by Oppo to feature the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chip under the hood.
Realme too has confirmed that it will launch T 5 Pro with the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset.
