A RANGE Rover that once belonged to a 1990s superstar has gone up for sale for an eye-watering £109,000.
The retro 4×4 comes kitted out with a host of extra special accessories – including a cocktail cabinet.
Currently available to buy from the Cars & Classic auction site, the very special hard dash LSE Range Rover Classic once belonged to singer Jay Kay of the group Jamiroquai.
Finished in Westminster Grey with colour-coded, diamond cut five-spoke alloy wheels, the listing states the 90s classic is “extremely sound” mechanically.
It added: “Particularly as it was fitted with a 4.6 JE Developments engine in 2020, so it goes as well as it looks.”
But the selling point – other than its famous former owner, of course – lies inside with its ultra-unique interior packed full of special features.
According to the listing, it comes with a dash-mounted screen and roof-mounted TV, described as “obviously wonderful.”
However, it’s the specially fitted picnic writing tables, finished in walnut burr, along with a cocktail cabinet – a factory fitted accessory “that is as sought after as it is rare” – that really makes it stand out.
It’s also revealed that the motor comes with an extended centre console containing a lockable cabinet which can be used for drinks or the safe stowage of valuables.
The console is finished to match the interior with a wood veneer door.
The listing was first posted in the middle of May and is available to be picked up in Witney, Oxfordshire.
This isn’t the first tasty set of wheels sold by the pop star – as he’s very well known for his love of cars.
And the world’s biggest Range Rover – which once ferried Mike Tyson to an iconic boxing match – also recently went up for sale.
