It wasn’t immediately clear why the Honor 200, the newest smartphone from the Chinese brand (whose parent company was formerly the more recognizable brand name, Huawei) was being launched in Paris — but seconds into the keynote address, where I was present courtesy of the company, all became very clear.
Honor is going big with their latest model, part of a reasonably priced 200-line (it was previously only available in China) and its photography — specifically, their ability to replicate portraits made famous by the French photograph studio Harcourt.
