Indonesia shares lower at close of trade; Jakarta Stock Exchange Composite down 0.17% By Investing.com



Investing.com – Indonesia equities were lower at the close on Thursday, as losses in the , and sectors propelled shares lower.

At the close in Jakarta, the declined 0.17%.

The biggest gainers of the session on the were Langgeng Makmur Industri Tbk (JK:), which rose 35.00% or 35.00 points to trade at 135.00 at the close. Inter-Delta Tbk (JK:) added 34.43% or 63.00 points to end at 246.00 and Perma Plasindo Tbk PT (JK:) was up 34.09% or 60.00 points to 236.00 in late trade.

Biggest losers included Himalaya Energi Perkasa Tbk PT (JK:), which lost 16.67% or 1.00 points to trade at 5.00 in late trade. Multi Makmur Lemindo Tbk (JK:) declined 10.00% or 1.00 points to end at 9.00 and Isra Presisi Indonesia PT Tbk (JK:) shed 10.00% or 1.00 points to 9.00.

Declining stocks outnumbered rising ones by 336 to 244 and 248 ended unchanged on the Jakarta Stock Exchange.

In commodities trading, Crude oil for January delivery was up 1.11% or 0.76 to $69.51 a barrel. Meanwhile, Brent oil for delivery in January rose 1.00% or 0.73 to hit $73.54 a barrel, while the December Gold Futures contract rose 0.74% or 19.65 to trade at $2,671.35 a troy ounce.

USD/IDR was up 0.24% to 15,938.25, while AUD/IDR rose 0.41% to 10,389.23.

The US Dollar Index Futures was unchanged 0.00% at 106.61.
