Altman had replied to the offer saying, “No thank you but we will buy twitter for $9.74 billion if you want.”
Musk responded to this by calling him a “Swindler”.
Altman, in turn, had said Musk was acting out of a “position of insecurity” during an interview with Bloomberg Television at the Paris AI Summit. He added, “I don’t think he’s a happy person.”
Musk’s legal action against OpenAI began last year, when he filed a lawsuit claiming that the company had deviated from its original mission of being a non-profit research lab dedicated to serving the public good.
