Another day, another breaking story involving artificial intelligence. A new study published in the journal Chemical Science says that researchers at the University of Toronto developed a potential treatment for the most common type of liver cancer with the help of an AI drug platform called Pharma AI.
The crazy part? The AI created the new drug formula in just 30 days, and the team says it will now go through clinical trials. They also say the treatment, developed with additional help from an AI-powered protein database called AlphaFold, is a previously unknown treatment pathway.
