According to real-time monitoring website Downdetector, over 40,000 reports were recorded during the second outage, with users encountering issues on both the X website and mobile app.
The first disruption took place around 3:30 PM with over 2,500 reports detected in India, followed by a similar outage having over 1300 reports, recorded at 7:30 PM.
The third wave of disruptions saw more than 1,000 reports from India alone as of 9:38 PM (IST), with users across the United States, the United Kingdom, and other regions also affected.
The company has yet to issue a statement regarding the technical glitch, and the cause of the outages remains unclear.
Frustrated users have taken to other social media platforms to share their experiences, raising concerns about X’s stability.
