South Korea Assembly Considers Bill to Extend Tax Exemption for Start-Ups, Companies in Crisis Areas

The South Korean National Assembly Feb. 23 accepted for consideration Bill No. 2120191, to provide a two-year extension of a corporate income tax exemption, to Dec. 31, 2025, from Dec. 31, 2023, for companies starting up businesses in specified sectors, or establishing new workplaces within crisis areas.
