Spirit Tech merges security acquisitions to form Infotrust – ARN

Spirit previously acquired Intalock in December 2020 for $15 million to enter the government and corporate sectors. In February 2024, it acquired InfoTrust for an undisclosed amount, tapping into its SOC capabilities.

At the time of the InfoTrust deal, Spirit said it and Intalock would combine under its Spirit arm and result in a suite of cyber security solutions, offering threat management and compliance solutions, as well as offensive security and incident response services in addition to the SOC.

“This strategic acquisition aligns with our vision of becoming the go-to cyber security partner in Australia,” Spirit Group CEO and managing director Julian Challingsworth said in February.

“By combining our SOC capabilities with InfoTrust’s Assurance, GRC and product focus, we are positioned to deliver a completed and robust cyber security solution set that enables our clients to build robust defences against a cyber-attack and respond quickly to threats and attacks which are becoming more prevalent.”
