Lewis Hamilton demands to RETIRE in meltdown at Qatar Grand Prix as time at Mercedes heads for sad ending

The company said in a statement: “Its creation was timed to perfection, aligning with the final season of one of the greatest drivers of all time, Sir Lewis Hamilton.”

Lewis Hamilton is an iconic British racing car driver, considered a living legend in Formula 1.

Having won seven championships, he has tied with Michael Schumacher and has set several solo records including 105 wins, 104 pole positions, and 202 podium finishes.

HOF added: “As the 2024 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix marks the end of his extraordinary journey with Mercedes, this car stands as a tribute to a career that has surpassed all expectations, cementing his place as the greatest Formula 1 driver in history.”

He drove his final race for Mercedes over the weekend but was beaten by McLaren’s Lando Norris, who secured his fourth win of the season.

Lewis Hamilton surged from 16th on the grid to secure fourth place with a last-lap overtake on his team-mate George Russell.

He had faced a nightmare in qualifying during his final race weekend with the Silver Arrows.

However, he was granted the liberty of the home straight to perform some donuts in celebration of his farewell after achieving six championship titles with the British team.
